This Privacy Policy explains how Shower Doors of Sarasota LLC, doing business as Shower Doors of Sarasota ("SDoS," "we," "us"), 5660 Fruitville Rd., Sarasota, FL 34232, collects, uses and shares information when you visit showerdoorsofsrq.com (the "Site"), contact us, or receive text messages from us. We serve Sarasota and Manatee County plus Englewood, Florida, but this policy applies to every visitor, including California residents.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, email, phone/mobile number, project address or city, project details, photos and measurements you upload, quote-tool selections, and messages. Job applicants: name, contact details, position, experience.
- Text-message consent records: whether you opted in to service texts and/or review-request/follow-up texts, the date and time, the page, your IP address, and the consent wording shown.
- Automatically collected: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar tools including Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity (which records how visitors scroll, click and move on pages to help us improve the Site). We do not use these tools to record what you type into form fields.
- From others: reviews or referrals, and information from service providers that help us run the business.
2. How we use information
To respond to inquiries (we aim to reply within one business day), prepare quotes, schedule and perform work, send appointment and service messages, send review requests and follow-ups only if you opted in, process payments, review job applications, improve the Site, prevent fraud, and comply with law.
3. Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in, we text you at the number you provide. Service texts and review-request/follow-up texts are separate, optional choices; consent is never a condition of purchase. See the SMS section of our Terms. We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text-message opt-in data and consent with any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers (such as our text-messaging and scheduling platform and phone carriers) that deliver messages on our behalf.
We do not sell your personal information and do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined in California law. We disclose information only to: service providers that work for us (e.g., website hosting Vercel, analytics Google, Microsoft, our customer, scheduling and texting platform (Workiz), email and payment providers), who may use it only to serve us; installers and suppliers as needed to complete your job; authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety; and a buyer or successor if the business is sold.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Do Not Track: our Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing. 6. Retention
We keep inquiry and customer records as long as needed for the purposes above and for warranty, tax and legal requirements (generally 7 years for job records). Consent and opt-out records are kept for at least 5 years. Analytics data is kept per the provider's settings.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or transmission is completely secure.
8. Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or opt out of texts or emails, by emailing info@showerdoorsofsarasota.com or calling 941.359.9882. Email marketing includes an unsubscribe link. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
California residents: In the past 12 months we collected the categories in Section 1 (identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet activity, approximate geolocation, professional/employment information from applicants, and inferences about your project), from the sources and for the purposes above, and disclosed them only to the service providers listed in Section 4. We do not sell or share personal information and do not knowingly sell or share data of anyone under 16. To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to us, you may request to know, delete or correct your information and limit use of sensitive information (we do not collect sensitive information for inferring characteristics). An authorized agent may submit a request. We will verify requests by matching information we already have. Under California's "Shine the Light" law (Civ. Code § 1798.83), you may ask whether we shared personal information with third parties for their direct marketing; we do not.
9. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in California), and we do not knowingly collect their information.
