The on-site installation is usually finished in a single visit of a few hours, depending on the size and complexity of the enclosure. 3/8" tempered glass is the most common choice for frameless enclosures and works with the widest range of hinges and sliding systems. 1/2" glass is heavier and gives a more substantial, high-end look, but it needs hardware rated for the extra weight and solid wall support. Rinse and squeegee the glass after showering and clean it with a non-abrasive glass cleaner; avoid harsh or gritty products that can scratch the glass or hardware finish. EnduroShield, an optional protective coating, makes glass easier to clean and reduces water spots and mineral buildup. Repair services are limited to work we originally installed.
